A poignant look at the life of a dancer

A dancer friend of mine alerted me to the existence of this moving piece created by Jérome Bel for retiring Paris Opera Ballet dancer Véronique Doisneau, who looks back on what gave her joy and what gave her pain in her career. It's definitely worth watching the whole thing: if you click on the first video it will lead automatically to the subsequent ones, but if you're short on time, make sure you watch the third one, which will give you new insights into what it means to be "human decoration" in the corps.
